Shenmue Dojo

Hey guys i'm new to this board but liking it since i'm lurking here a while.
I'm a german gamer and played my whole life videogames but nothing just ocarina of time and shenmue got me so addicted. Btw: please excuse my bad english.
Love Shenmue since i got my hands on it in the early 00's and can't wait for an HD collection and hope SIII will hit the stores in the near future!

Now i want to discuss with you about my theory about SIII, so lets start:

a couple of days ago i got bored of all those new games like cod, assasins creed and other moneymaking commercial games and i surfed the internet about good old times in gaming history and so on but then i informed me about the upcoming nintendo console the wii u and watched a tech demo which was presented on e3 2011, here the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9bhS_mMjPU. as you can see this demo shows japanese houses and has for me a bit of this virtua fighter and a bit of shenmue look. furthermore this tech demo is a bit similar to the shenmue intro with the eagle flying around http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNDChSl42Xw

Ok this isn't really convincingly that this can be a note for shenmue 3 on the wii u but i got more informations that it could be possible that nintendo want the shenmue franchise so look at this article

so hold those hd collection back for future plans ? hmmm well ok another thing that got me up was that someone here in the forums got a link to a page were its written that nintendo plans to make with sega some deals


what do u guys think about that ?? could there any connections ?? i mean if the hd collection is done for over a year why poor sega didn't released them on xboxonline and on the psn ?? it sounds so strange to me

Both Reggie and the interviewer have a little joke while asking if this is a retro tech demo and he also gets asked who is the developer and Reggie smiles and says "im not gonna say..im not gonna say"

Yu Suzuki was seen at the E3 Nintendo conference earlier this year.

Thats the first time me seeing that demo so thanks for that. I could see the possibility of Suzuki having a hand in that demo, definitely. Curious who actually made it.

very very interesting comparison. It does indeed feel like a Shenmueish demo. Shenmue 3 on Wiiu would be cool too.

If you listen very closely doesn't the music at 4:30 to 4:50 sound just like the Shenmue theme...or is it just me??
