That's what I'm going to do. I'm hoping there will be a physical PS4 version, but even if there's not, at least there's the physical PC release (although PC gaming isn't really my thing).

So retail games only give the publisher %30, that sucks.

I thought Digital was the same thing, a big chunk goes to Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo when on their platforms. Probably the only difference is the loss of a retailer's cut.

Yeah, think the best way to make your money count is really to support yu through kickstarter or directly through pp if/when available, second best way probably digital PC version after release.

Paypal will take a cut, about 3% and probably additional fees from Kickstarter for setting up third party payment options. Paypal payments also won't be reflected towards the overall number of backers and their pledged amount during the campaign, though stretch goals can still be met by adding the donations done by Paypal to the amount pledged by backers from Kickstarter.

Is it telling that they've updated the FAQ in regards to the physical ps4 copy?

Correct if I'm wrong but it didn't say about appearing as an update before did...?

The Shenmue 3 Kickstarter will only be offering the digital download version for the PlayStation Network. If a physical copy was added as a reward, an announcement would be made on the update page.

It shows that answer was updated today and I think it just originally said they had no plans to, nothing about it appearing in an update if they decide to...

I'm sure someone posted the original faq on here so I'll try and check
