SHENMUE PATRON - $800 In the oriental tradition of marking a pilgrimage to a temple by affixing one's name to the building, your name will appear on a Choubu temple in Chinese characters. The Chinese characters for your name will be approved by Yu Suzuki himself. Find your name tag on the temple and receive a special Technique Scroll! + Receive a PDF of your name in Chinese characters as it will appear in the game. Be part of the culture that is the world of Shenmue. $500 Reward included.

I love that they're using digital items to bring in more money. Cuts costs and maximizes profit. I know some here wish they'd produce some physical goods, but I understand what they're doing and think it's great. Also nice to see them offering some items for those who wish to pledge a little more, but not too much.

Okay cool, going to get an $80 reward on a second account, hope it's included in the other higher tier rewards.

I'm sure it'll be included with everything above. What an awesome addition, I love the idea!

Really cool idea, and it encourages those sitting on $60 to up their pledge a little.

Well, props to Awesome Japan they really are putting some work, a tier between 500 and 1k was much needed. And the 80$ tier will make many 60$ backers up their pledge.

Now we just need the damn new hype video and maybe a stretch goal between 5.1 and 6m for the final rush.

The phone card reward is a great idea, hopefully this will pull in some new backers or have the lower tier backers upgrade. So I'm guessing some of the voice cast will be back to reprise those roles? Especially Nozomi, thought she's the most unlikely Ryo would be able to contact her since she has migrated to Canada.

Looks like it, pretty tempting to make a second account but I really can't afford another $800...

Im not that happy myself, but you need to justify that 300$ increase somehow.

I'm talking about higher tiers, seems like it's exclusive to $800. Odd
