I'm really hoping for Shenmue HD right now. It's the biggest thing to be expected and it seems it is going to be big.
A strech goal for an Xbox One release would be big news too and I wouldn't mind that escpecially since it could give the Kickstarter a big push.
In any way, Cedric sure knows how to get us hyped.

Yeah either an Xbox One version or the HD remakes. This would give the Kickstarter a huge boost.

To be honest awesome japan is clueless, got "good" with the ps4 and riding the 3rd, then again drifting to nowhere.
It's not hard to hype guys that have been waiting for anything 14 years lol

Yeah, flippin' love this guy. Massive Shenmue cocktease though.
If they pull off Shenmue HD as a Reward ("not sure" suggests some negotiations) we'll sail past $5M I think. I'd bank on HD rather than Xbox at this point, but either would be huge.

If Sega have green lit the HD ports for development then there's no harm in announcing them, even as a stretch goal bonus. $100 tier also getting you an advanced release in Summer 2016, with actual release December 2016.
There's a million and one ways go doing it for it to benefit the Kickstarter.

Because we are too far from release, if the remakes happen they will be out closer to Shenmue 3 release imo, not now.

Maybe Sega accepts HD remake or Microsoft to invest if the kickstarter reaches a precise amount of money like Sony did for the physical disc ?
