Shenmue 3 Discussion: The Pivot from Shenmue 2 to 3

Hi all,

I have been doing a Shenmue 3 video discussion series on my youtube channel

I would like to invite you all to see my latest segment.
It is regarding the pivot from Shenmue 2 to Shenmue 3.
The video quality is a bit off but the format of series allows it to be listened to like a podcast.

Wow so you're another Shenhua fan huh :) I was beginning to think, me and Yu were the only ones who loved the Shenhua char.

Wow that's the early days of modding there(with the exception of fan translation movement, which started back in the mid 90s)

Wow that's the early days of modding there(with the exception of fan translation movement, which started back in the mid 90s)


Yeah I got started when I kept seeing LanDC post stuff. His work really got me interested in all of that.
Now I do computer and network security for a living. I can thank Shenmue and LanDC for pretty much my livelyhood lol

That's awesome, I love hearing stories about how the Shenmue games effected peoples lives. It's another thing that points out how truly special the Shenmue series is, and is something no other games have ever influenced before to a noticeable extent. I have seen anime, and other such things have such effects before, but I can't think of anything else in this entire industry, that has.
