Ok... I just finished catching up on this thread after being away for a while. Wow... 14 pages is a lot to read.

Anyway, I'm still believing that we may get some kind of update on Shenmue 3. Now, if it's going to be a trailer for gameplay or a single shot of the new models with a nod to how successful last year's Kickstarter campaign was... who is to know? I'm well aware that we may get nothing at all on Shenmue 3 and that's fine as well. It's happening and I'm still on cloud nine about that.

Now, what I'm really hoping for and believe we have a good chance at is the Shenmue HD announcement. I believe it's going to happen eventually, and as others have stated, I believe that it's best to announce it either at this E3 (only two days away) or at this year's PSX in December. Without doing so at either event would put a time crunch on getting the collection out to a potential new userbase and existing fans alike before Shenmue 3 releases. While many pointed out that E3 2017 would probably be where we get it, the collection would have to be announced as coming that fall essentially. People need time to play through the first two games before the third releases. Yeah, I'm assuming Shenmue 3 will be delayed into 2018, but still.

While I don't expect to be as floored as I was at last year's E3 (the "E3 of Dreams" as many call it), I still expect some Shenmue news.

Other games I'm hoping to have announced include a Dino Crisis reboot with Regina and whatever Naughty Dog's next game is that they are working on. Either way... two days and we'll know. I'll be watching live from my PS4.

I'd be very surprised if Shenmue 3 doesn't feature in some capacity at E3, especially after last year's scenes. Even some new stills will help keep the interest alive.

I can't believe (in a good way) that people are still exited about videogames.

For me last year was like "ok, there's not much after Shenmue III that I do/can care about". But fyck yeah, games are the most awesome form of media we have, I got reminded about the new Kojima game, and fuck it, let's hope this E3 is as awesome as last year.

I missed the Microsoft conference since I am in the bar right now. Long story short, I said in my head if Ireland win then Shenmue 3 will definitely be shown tonight.
