Shenmue III start screen announcer...

Does anyone here think that they should have something like the Resident Evil or Devil May Cry series where there's some person that says the game's title when you press start? In this case, someone would say "Shenmue III". Thoughts on this?

Wow, two replies already! Yeah I agree. Doesn't hurt to have an idea though! In that case, they should have the same music and QTE "bleep" sounds when ever you press a functional button from Shenmue and Shenmue II.

I don't think it would be suitable for Shenmue to be honest. I think the third game needs to tie itself to the first two games in style as much as possible to continue that Shenmue 'feel.' A simple QTE select sound (as mentioned above) and another rotating menu would be good for me.

The only Shenmue announcer we know is the voice-over of the DreamOn trailer and it kicked ass. So why not after an intro cinematic before fading in the start screen?

But to be honest, my answer is still: no.

Ideally not as I would want it to be simple simple like the preceding two games, but if they reeeeeaaaallllly have to then I'd go for this.

I hope the menu music makes a comeback too!

Absolutely. I agree that it really shouldn't be implemented but hypothetically speaking, what if they used the DreamOn trailer announcer and much like the start screen of SF4, the announcer says it before you hit start? This way, when you press start you'll still have the original "beep" sound and then the music can start playing after you get past the start screen. Thanks to Yokosuka for the suggestion! Please remember, this is hypothetically speaking. I'm not really in favour of this but it's just an example of how it could work! You could kinda have the best of both worlds this way.

I realize that it's probably impossible to include this. But a remade version of this at the bootup screen would be icing on the cake.
