Nakamura is also the composer of the original Virtua Fighter and a load of other AM2 games (as well as non-AM2 games like Ehrgeiz & Lumines).
It'd be great if he composed some music for Shenmue 3, his most recent composition work was on Yuji Naka's game Rodea the Sky Soldier, which had that really good classic SEGA sound, lots of upbeat electronic music that evokes that blue skies feel. He's a really good synth composer. At least we know the sound should be on point now (of course, we knew about Iuchi who is also really good).

From Ryuji Iuchi's blog, last May. Curious.

Small bump, Ryuji Iuchi brought this photo up on Twitter the other day. Switch graciously translated the tweet as the machine translation wasn't very clear.

Unfortunately this had nothing to do with Shenmue, seems the naming convention was just a coincidence. We'll probably be hearing more about the music sometime in the future anyway, though.

I enjoyed this game on Wii. Yeah has some good tunes. This song reminds me of Panzer Dragoon series.

An analysis post on this update is now up at Phantom River Stone.

With help from the community (thanks Spaghetti!) we've been able to translate the script cover page that Matsukaze-san was holding - and even a little snippet of the actual script itself.

Probably just SHEnmue or SHEnhua, I think. I can't imagine much that it'd stand for, but that might be because it's currently 3AM and I'm about to go to sleep.

I really can't think of anything else except it's to indicate that the character, as well as script is female. In subject, tone, and nature.

Thanks for the thoughts on "SHE". The suggestion that it may be a three-letter character id they have assigned to Shenhua sounds logical.
