How many copies are you gonna buy?

I mean, we've been waiting for this for a looooong looong time. Way too long I'd say.
With the upcoming Shenmue "HD" release, it's time to spread some Shenmue love
I think I'll go for at least 3 or 4 copies on Steam, which I'm gonna gift to some friends of mine who never got the chance to play Shenmue (and heard me talking about it a LOT
). I'm confident many people will play Shenmue for the first time thanks to this re-release and will fall in love with this saga.
Do you also plan to gift Shenmue HD to some friends?

I preordered my PS4 copy today and I intend to get the Steam version as well once that’s available. I’ll also be interested if they come out with a collectors edition of some sort later on.
My brother-in-law who accidentally got me into Shenmue back in 2000 will also be downloading a copy for his Xbox to support the series.
So that’s 3-4 so far on my end.

I’ll be getting two copies, I’ll be purchasing the physical and digital copies for the PS4. Physical, because I want to keep the game forever so to speak, and the digital version because I am currently living in Thailand, so if I order the physical version online it will take an age to arrive and I want to be playing this straight away.

Now that it has been revealed that a poster will be included with physical copies i guess i will be getting...
One physical to keep sealed for Xbox One.
Another physical to open and play for PS4, and also use that poster.
And a digital one for PC.
So 3.
