People are surely expecting a lot from these games. $15 per game. Even old Capcom and Square Enix mobile games cost more on Google Play/Itunes.

I've put in my pre-order. See how far I get before ploughing into Yakuza Kiwami 2 a week later. First time in years I'll have a games backlog..

I been playing Shenmue lately with av input and I have no problems with the graphics like some people are complaining I think the game looks great. I replay a lot of older games from PS2/Gamecube/Dreamcast era and I don't care about graphics I still enjoy the games for having good gameplay.

If you've got a component down converter (redundant to convert up from composite), or even a TV pre-2010 decade lucky enough to still have S-video, it is highly underrated. Sure, RGB Scart is better, but even rarer in the US (aka nonexistent). There are come component cables being developed now by retro-bit, i believe, since S-vid was exclusive to Japan and might be pricey/rare to track down.

Love me my PS2 S-video (honestly the best cable for PS2). Somehow component doesn't use the extra 3rd pin to look much better... which it should even in 480i and theres so few (literally only 2 or 3...?) HD PS2 games. Damn, the video on PS2 blows. S-video on my Saturn is fantastic and i really want to get one of those JVC or Victor expansion cards, too. Although, might be useless if needs programming into the games ala Dreamcast VGA mode, rather than automatic upgrade.

As of today, fifteen curators on Steam have 'reviewed' Shenmue I & II. Seven have rated the game as 'Recommended'; four have posted it under 'Informational', one of which is a warning about Denuvo; and four have rated the game as 'Not recommended', three of whom voice their concerns about the implementation of Denuvo, while the remaining one is unhappy about the RRP.

With a single line of code, Steam could prevent anyone from leaving reviews before a game's release date. I can see no justification for not doing that. Even if someone has played it on another platform, that's still not the same product as bugs and features may be platform-specific.

Tell him to go look up the Dreamcast releases and see how much that would set him back.
Some people are just never satisfied.

Not to mention the fact the game can be purchased for about £15.00/$20.00 from Voidu; they are an approved partner of SEGA, as opposed to a sketchy key reseller, so SEGA will be seeing a percentage of the revenue. That's approximately £7.50/$10.00 per game.

Shenmue 1 only have 3 save slots Im really hoping they include more slots in the HD collections so I can revisit my favorite parts of the game without having to start a new game file.

Wonder if they'll fix any of the famous glitches, or if new ones will be introduced with this port. Map glitch is a lot of fun in Shenmue 2 so I hope its still there.

I find it ok that costumers/consumers get mad about getting screwed by the price they did in some places, but it's not cool to make them in form of a review (Iguess it's the only way they feel they'll get a reaction).

I already got it in steam, I want to purchase one for my brother in law for ps4.

2x was given a lot more save slots--can't imagine the same not being done for the original. Something important, yet so small not even worst touting by Sega or D3T. Not end of the world if somehow it is overlooked. Personally, always did fine with only 3 slots.
