Makes me wish more anime adaptations would go the RPG route nowadays. Seems to result in some pretty interesting mechanics when done right.
Yeaa its been a while for some reason in the 2ks every company decided they wanted to make a fighting game.
Also Neverland made all the Lufia games (as well as Shining force Neo/Exa), but some of the things that were annoying in Rise of the Sinistrals are also in Tides of Destiny, the combat isn't bad, but it never really goes anywhere. Its one of those games where they throw a ton of options at you, but they're aren't necessarily different playstyles. It also goes REAAAAALLY far off the deep end with anime stereotypes.
