You have one more Heart of health on the 3DS. Think the gameplay was tweaked to be slightly easier since people complained the Wii version was to hard. I have not played the Wii version so maybe it is but kind a bummer is you ask me that people moan about a platformer being hard. As kids every game was damn hard way back when,we were not *profound*ing but I guess I'm an old man gamer lol. :P
Hard? Okay, here is the chance to say that DKCR was
really easy. Those people who are complaining about it being hard, should play Donkey Kong Country (the original) or Diddy Kong's Quest and then tell what hard is. Therefore, in the opposite position, I would complain that DKCR was easy.
That said, I tried to follow a slow pace while playing the game, so as to make the game last more... (By the way, I did the same with Super Mario Galaxy 2.) Also, that does not mean I am some kind of a superior player. I can accept that they are kids and we are old, but in the other hand and we were kids back then (in 1995/1996) when we were playing the first and harder DK games (which I still found them hard/harder).
Finally, it is not a good sign when you see that nowadays game companies weaken the challenge in their games, so as to make them more appealing to the even more casual transforming generation/consumers.
