Since I've been offline for a while, I've recorded a video message for you guys, to save me typing up a huge post :)

Haha! Farmer Peter doing the next job in Shenmue 3. Thats a badass way to make some money and also a complete change of pace from anything you've ever done. Grats on finding your way.

Nice to see you seem happy now, it was a shame to see there where points you started to doubt going out there. Hope you continue to enjoy yourself.

You don't sound as high pitched as I imagined.

Big up your farming fandango. I'll be over in 3 weeks, make your way to Melbourne some time and we'll meet up for a few (many) jars!

You obviously didn't see Peter's naked drunk posting pics. Legendary.

Cheers for the kind words lads. Aye Riku, hard to believe I was days away from not doing this and giving up by going home.

Dan, what's the craic with Melbs, what made you and your missus pick there? Don't get me wrong its an alright spot like. I'm working flat out and I'm not 100% sure of what's going on here. I have 3 weeks left before leaving to travel, but the farmer has asked me to stay and worm for him, and he will even reimburse the money I dropped on the flights and stuff. I dunno will see what happens. Are you and your missus looking to do rural work to get a second year, or what's the go?

My girlfriend has a brother there with a 2 year old girl and another on the way. Obviously what with the distance between them it is very rare she gets to do the auntie thing so I think we'll be there for the majority of the time. It's extremely unlikely that we'll be doing a second year; I'm 31 and the lady is 29, neither of us are getting any younger and we're looking to settle down upon our return.
