how much of yu suzuki's own money is going into this?

He probably has a small fortune in savings or investments whose interest and or dividends allow him to live a modest lifestyle basically free. We can't forget he was doing his biggest work during Japan's fabled bubble era in the 80s. It's probably a significant amount, but if he started spending his own money on risky investments like making games he could jeopardize his family's security. This is all baseless conjecture, though.

Sure he made millions at Sega, but would you like to guess what his income has been since taking a step away from the industry almost 15 years ago? Living any lifestyle isn't free, especially if Yu happened to be living large. It certainly is not a given that Yu is in a position to put a significant amount of funds into this game.

dunno, but im sure he has paid off his house from the glory era and bought that Ferrari with cash money, its Japan.

I doubt he is sinking alot of money into this from his own pocket, I also doubt he is a millionaire
