Thanks for the reply. I did go through that link.. the part where it says "Configuring your controller is simplicity itself, just click on the button you want to configure" is exactly where it crashes ;)

I just updated my graphics driver to make sure it wasn't an issue.
Intel Core i7-4712HQ @2.30 ghz
8 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 850M and also Intel HD 4600 graphics
