Welcome to the official discussion topic for Shenmue II: The Gang Edition. For anyone not familiar with our projects, The Gang Edition movies are live-action spoofs of the Shenmue series starring me and my friends. This is the official discussion topic for the movie. Please post your reviews, comments, and criticisms here. We're also happy to answer any behind-the-scenes questions you might have about any part of the production process, so feel free to ask. If you have specific questions for individual cast members, you can ask those too and we'll pass them along and get you their answers.

The movie is also available on DVD. Here are the details:

Disc One:
-1st Half of Movie

-Trailers for Shenmue I & II: The Gang Editions & The Search for Pappas

Disc Two:
-2nd Half of Movie
-Deleted Scenes
-Bloopers

The finished movie is approximately 2 hours long, while the deleted scenes and bloopers add up to over an extra half-hour of footage. The entire package comes in a 2-disc standard DVD case, complete with box art. And of course, the video and sound are of the highest possible quality. And the special features, like bloopers and deleted scenes, are only available on the DVD.

Like the first movie, the cost is $10 ($15 if you live overseas). This is to cover the cost of the 2 disc movie, the case, and shipping (plus making up some of the expenses from production, like Dou Niu's $70 fat suit). We're not out to make money on this thing, we're simply fans making something that can be enjoyed by other fans. My preferred method of accepting payment is through PayPal online, but I also accept cash or check if you'd rather pay that way. Once I recieve payment, I put your DVD in the mail.

I've decided I WILL ship to the UK for the DVD, so e-mail me and we'll talk details. And when II is finished, it will be on the Dojo just like the first one. We're hoping for a fall release.
