E3 is coming up here in July. To create some hype and maybe get the media to ask Sega some questions about our beloved Shenmue this year, I am Starting up our Shenmue poster project. Get creative and send in more posters to me, but more importantly, it's time to print these posters up and start hanging them around public places. I want you to take pictures of these posters up at local game stores, parks, colleges, high school, Game events, E3, where ever we can get them noticed. I will be making a new section to post all the pictures you guys send me of places plastered with posters :). I really really hope some people will make it down to E3 and post some or hand out some at the convention center.

So the rules for posters are:

*Shenmue related / Asking for Shenmue
*Scalable to a standard size sheet of paper
*Mention the Campaign so people know where to join us, or just be mysterious as hell (like the wanted posters)
*MUST have http://www.myspace.com/legendofshenmue on it
*Printer friendly :) (don't use my whole ink cart) Black/white are easiest

Post your posters in the Comment section if you want, but make sure to send them to me at [email protected]

Make sure to send me the pictures of the posters up and about, and let me know the Country, State, City, or Location name of where the picture was taken :)

<b>Another Idea that popped up: If we have a dedicated fan that wants to make a Lucky hit board and set it up across the street from E3 would be amazing. It would need to be free to try and mabey have toy capsules or "We want Shenmue III" buttons as prizes</b> If I had the money I'd do it myself this year. (lost my job :( )

Keep up the great work,

i dont want to go on, but ive been to art events + studied design.

if your going to hand out flyers or even business type cards they have to be designed in a way which makes the person who receives it want to keep it.

like for example, i have been told of designers who design there business card like a paper toy... so when these people get back to there office there more likely to keep + display it.

something like this (but with a shenmue spin) -

i wouldnt mind helping design one. :)

I have a few hand made marker written posters. But to make colorful ones like that I do not have money to make.

Don't make posters, just use pickets instead. That way you can literally smash Shenmue into everyone's heads.

I was just recommending black and white posters because the are inexpensive for most to print them up and hang them about. If they print them themselves, color posters can take a lot of ink...
