I've been reading a book called "Myths and Legends from India" where they present stories from the great Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata in chapter form.
It's all very interesting and insightful, reminding me of the tales from other polytheist religions like the ancient greek and norse ones, but also as a precursor to buddhism.
Been also reading the Stanley Kubrick Archives. Now, this is already my 3rd book about Kubrick (the first two being a biography and a book of interviews) but this is far and wide the most complete.
Pretty self-descriptively it's a huge exploration of Kubrick's personal archives, with hundreds of film scans, unpublished materials like letters, screenplay drafts, photographs, articles and essays on and by Kubrick, plus more interviews and a complete timeline of his career.
The holy grail for Kubrick fans, bar none.
