First posters had since the 1980's from GB and NES.

Finally got a frame and now hangs above my gaming shelf.

I love your collection. Its what ive always wanted, and could have if i wasnt an idiot when i was younger and threw out a lot of magazines, posters etc all because my mum was strict when it came to cleaning, and i had to constantly tidy my rom, and throw out anything that wasnt of use. Id love to have this in my house now im grown up, but i dont think my Roisin would let me. She already doesnt like my Halo poster in the living room of my apartment, so when we move in togetheri dunno where all my gaming stuff is gonna go, but it certainly wont be going anywhere near a bin!

I am going to start going after art books in gaming. I used to buy them for star trek films and TV in the 90's since yes I am a trek nerd.

Right now just have one gaming art book I got as a pre order bonus for Soul Calibur II in 2003.
I took a few sample pics of mine showing how it covers characters weapons and stages.





The next one I am after is on Amazon the Okami art book.
I just can't wait for next pay day to get this.

What else does it have in it? I'd love to know who those characters are in the fourth image, top right of the page, next to Iwao. They were in the Premiere video I think and never were important in the main game. Maybe you could post a close up and Kiyuu could translate their descriptions?

They are Guo Tai Yuan and Zhou Wen Tai, the butchers in the Green Market Qr. who hate each other.
I've heard there was a plan to include an episode about them, fighting over a woman or something.
You may remember they still speak ill of the other when you talk to one of them.

Anyway, those character descriptions in the book are almost identical to what they gave to the characters
in the Shenmue Premiere video.

Wow, that looks like a really great art book Peter congrats! I've always liked artbooks and what not, but Shenmue has always had some of the most incredible art work for a game, so well done!

Oh and does anyone know who the guy wearing the white chinese style top in the pic above where it says Message, on I think it's the 8th pic down that you posted Peter?
