nah it's way too expensive to buy without playing first, if I like it a lot I'll probably get it some time in the future but for that it would need to be really good or re-released, but they lost the source code on a corrupt hard drive apparently so I doubt that would happen. you would think a company like sega would have more than one backup of their stuff

Been playing Witcher 2. At first I didn't like it then I was liking it now I'm kinda "I don't get this game" Just a really weird game to me in many subtle ways. Might be because I never played the first and really not used to western RPG's. Only a few hours in seems well made but with quite a few but minor flaws. So far I just feel lost playing it in every regard of what to do.

Western RPGs can be pretty fucking complex and take major skill, im not exactly the king of them either obviously, and sometimes I find they are too much for me. I would just keep at it, you will eventually get it, and once you learn it you might find yourself really loving the game.

IDK... thought it was alright. Rather different, at least, and good animation on the game models (cutscenes not so much).

Also finally played through Loom. Also liked it, although it felt a bit like... it was too easy. Plus the main character's design was just lazy, wasn't it?

The resurrection shit, alien appearing, then actually talking to them, the fact it looked ridiculous, the suicide, the tongue-lashing for resurrecting the suicide victim, etc. I just didn't like how it all turned out.
