In a strange case of life imitating art, a man named Walter White is at the top of the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office most wanted list in Alabama after allegedly violating his probation in a methamphetamine manufacturing case.
Walter White is also the name of the meth-cooking antihero at the center of AMC's critically acclaimed drama, "Breaking Bad," played by Bryan Cranston. As first reported by TuscaloosaNews.com, the real-life White was arrested in 2008 (the year the AMC show premiered), on charges of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of precursor materials and trafficking methamphetamine. He was arrested in January 2012 on the same charges, thereby violating his probation, then reportedly missed a July court appearance, according to Al.com.
Anyone with information on White's whereabouts should call the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 205-752-0616.
