It might be "better", but none of the games I've seen thus far look any better at all, so what else am I meant to think? It's not like they've told me how many "bits" it is! As for it being outselling the PS3 and Xbox 360 at that point in their lifetimes, maybe sales have picked up then, but I remember reading that it's launch and it's first month's sales were lower than both of those console's. I'd be surprised if sales have picked up significantly, as there's been nothing released to suggest that they would.

The Wiimote's only real staying feature is its IR. Gamepad has a lot more. Beyond that though it's just real nice as a standard controller (aside from the lack of analog triggers), and taking my game to the shitter is like all my prayers have been answered.

Pretty much every game has been a year old + port. Hardly the kind of library right now to get a good feel of what the system can do. Realistically, the tech is likely somewhere between a PS4 and a PS3.

By that logic Xbox 360 would have been nothing more than Original Xbox in HD. At launch all it's games looked like PS2/Xbox games.

Also take a look again as the developer Diary of Bayonetta 2 and watch X again. Consoles like PS3 and 360 can't do it and that's an unfinished game and already beyond what current gen can do.

Hardly looks "next gen" for back in 2005. Looked pretty much the same as games we already had. Top it off I included an exclusive.

You can rarely judge a system esp in this day and age on launch window games. Most system launches don't get a Shenmue or Soul Calibur to say HOLY FUCK NEXT GEN. It's almost always slightly better.


Now Wii U is not even half a year old. Now these games are not finished but already showing more capability than what we have.

Yes PG confirmed that creature is real time on Wii U.

Like I said read PG's developer diary or watch them. They talk about the detail and double the poly used on her character than in the first game.

So dumb, pissed that nintendo is paying for the sequel that got cancelled to be made. Fuck it, if Nintendo said "Yeah we're fully funding Shenmue 3, you can do what you want but its WiiU only" I wouldn't be pissed I'd buy 2 more WiiUs.
