Fell down some stairs and twisted my ankle something fierce. I can barely walk the pain is so bad, but I try to remind myself that gone another way, I could have just as easily have broken my neck instead.

I remember seeing the original Sin City in theaters, and I'd read the comics even before that. That movie is still one of the coolest adaptations of a comic I've ever seen, for the most part translating the comics frame for frame and word for word. It was cheesy too, but completely aware of it. It was an experiment, and it worked out incredibly well.
I'm actually surprised to say that, even 9 years later, the new one looks just as faithful to the spirit of the comics as the first was. Apparently it mainly adapts A Dame To Kill For, obviously, but there's also completely new story content that never appeared in the comics. The stuff with Nancy going crazy is all new, and I believe the Joseph Gordon Levitt stuff is as well. And it all looks great. Kind of cool to see that they're even bringing Hartigan back in, if only as some sort of nightmare.
Can't wait to see this.

Recently I've taken to wearing colourful bandannas out of my back pocket, not on a gangland ting, more of a I feel flamboyant ting (probably been looking at tokyofashion.com too much...but damn those kids are so swaggy). But I've just heard about the gay "hanky code" thing where a certain bandanna out your pocket indicated a sexual fetish. Fuck :(. Eh, screw it, I'mma keep doing it as I haven't been approached yet.
