not so much a gaming purchase, but it enables gameplay ability.
much earlier, picked up a reconditioned xbox original mains transformer, with a gender-bender plug overlay for the two socket revisions xbox had. (have to check xbx interior to be sure to get the right psu normally, the rates are the same, just the pins are aligned differently.)
got if for a single gbp.
and it's passed continuity and safety checks.
i'll slam it into a friends crystal box, he's burnt his out. (such is the way with these mains transformers.)
...
hope my luck keeps up on the decent finds... :king:

Besides some other games, only what you see. What exactly is the issue?

i logged in, so i'll answer for what i'm seeing:
nothing, just a default redundancy image the dojo uses if an image that was referred to, is no longer present, or moved/renamed.
basically, jack tits!
can you link the board where this image is hosted from please?! :P

 it does, thanks a lot for the share.
what i see now on the duplicate images are:
a ps2 chunky kit with box, psx and ps2 pads, a basic saturn kit with an AR 1-4m ram expansion and independent save cartridge sat in it's socket and AR package aside the saturn.
a cd.
yep, saw that great.
appreciate the humor, looking good btw!

You forgot the PS2 network adapter and memory card, and Myst! :D

I got all of the PS2 stuff for $30, and the Saturn for 60. I didn't really want a Saturn that badly, but they usually go for that much or more for the console only, and not in nearly as good of condition.

^^ ;-) i noticed the nw card, and the cd. (couldn't make it out til i looked at it closer.)
MYST!
what a game.
got for the amiga, and i enjoyed it throughly.
yet to play riven, and i do have exile on ps2 PAL-EUR retail.
...
on the ps2 nw card, i'm looking into replacing the ide block with sata one instead, and remove the power coupling that plugs into the ide hdd too.
the overall profile of the card is reduced, and it's brought safely up to date by exchanging ide/pata for sata compatibility.
(afaik. objective compatibility is no different. if the hdd is compatible with the ps2 hdd controller, no worries.)
yep! :P

Have you played the first Deus Ex? If not, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. It's easily one of the best games ever made and was my all time favorite before I played Shenmue II.

Been waiting to play this for years. I totally would have gotten it day-goddamn-one, but the year it came out someone I was close to said they were going to get it for my birthday. Okay, great thought, thank you very much. So they bought it, but they never got around to actually sending it to me (we live apart, y'see). I'd mention it here and there, mostly as a joke or something, trying hard not to be that dick saying "Gimme my present." But they were always busy, it always slipped their mind, all that stuff. For three years. And I always figured, hey, no biggie, it'll be there whenever I move back. So I could wait. I bought the 360 version at one point (the only version that came out physically in the US), but I never got the urge to play it much because a.) I preferred to play it on the PS3, as I had with its predecessor, and b.) it felt like kind of a dick move, not waiting for the gift someone had already bought me. Mostly just got that version as a show of support for the game. So I wait, and wait, and wait.
But then I end up having a falling out with that person recently, and the copy they got me is probably lost forever in a closet somewhere.
So after waiting three friggin' years, I order it for myself. Even after that long-ass wait, I'm still looking forward to it just as much as I ever was. Just a nut for this franchise, and whatever the reviews may say, I think these games are a hella fun time.
