No gore, but not exactly pleasant viewing :shock: ;

Poor crew knew they were going to die. Everything's caught on camera these days.

Its a hard watch. Even though we don't see any gore etc the feeling everyone on board must have felt before impact and then the explosion on impact. Fuck. RIP

Heard about this, now saw it. Sad. It appears that the engines stalled out during take off, that's when a plane is most vunerable, right when it leaves the runway because there is no breathing room for error. It's important to remember though that statistically it's safer to be on a commercial aircraft than to be in your own house. Thousands of planes take off everyday without incident.

As opposed to when houses take off. Incident every time.

Goddammit. I'm sorry, but I had to say it. :-#

Hard to find any decent facts about the crash, though if the five heavy vehicles in the back weren't lashed down properly and slipped back like some reports say, the tail dropping and forcing a stall sounds feasible also. Either way, the 20-odd seconds of knowing your fate was sealed must have been terrible, at least the actual end was pretty quick. :cry: RIP. :cry:

The loss of life is sad. Although it's curious that when 50,000 people die a year from car accidents, media doesn't care. But when it's a half dozen or so people killed in a plane or in a terrorist attack, it's front page news for days, if not months.

Agree with your last sentence too, every time a house takes off, something bad happens! ;-)

I read that too, that makes sense with the equipment shifting, that's just like how the plane pop singer Alliah died in her crash.

Why does the camera crew sound like they're having muffled sex the whole time? And why the hell did they have a camera out anyway?

So, does it not pick up sound good? You can definitely hear an "awww fuck" at the end of the video well after the plane has crashed and the car is just sitting there, but you can also hear heavy breathing the whole time.
