Swapping NPCs in Shenmue 2 for Shenmue Collection

Hi everyone.

Recently, I was messing around with swapping character models in Shenmue 2 (on the Xbox) but I cant seem to find the folder with the right HUMANS file that will control which characters show up in fighting minigames in the Shenmue Collection Menu.

I found the 4 scene folders, each with their respective HUMANS co-files, but none of them swap the fighter in the Collection minigames.

Is there another scene folder? Or is this not controlled the same way as in-game NPCs are?

If it is the Collection, then it should be in Disc 4, at least that'll be in Sega Dreamcast.

Also, try the .BIN files inside SCENE/04/NPC. Another option would be searching at the folders inside SCENE/04 that are duplicated from the other discs. Maybe inside there's bad guys.

Thanks for the reply, I will look into that.

I have a feel that the collection menu might be hardcoded. Everything I looked into all points to that sort of behavior.

The Shenmue Collection menu seems to be at SCENE\04\OMAK\OMAK.EV1 That's where, at least, I found the subtitles in order to translate them. The graphics should be at the same folder, but a different file.
