False Memories - Shenmue Edition

This might sound like a bit of a weird question, but can you recall any false memories you had about Shenmue at any point in your life? For example: things you seem to recall doing that turned out not to be possible; things you mistakenly thought were in the game, etc.

I can't think of any off the top of my head (jump-start plz), but I'm sure it will make for a very interesting discussion

Boring one but I 'remembered' being able to eat the snacks from the Tomato stores. I also 'remembered' being able to see how many capsule toys off a full set you had.

I thought there were SG-1000 capsule toys and other consoles in the game until I went and looked again a few weeks ago, but I misremembered; they exist IRL, not in Shenmue.

For some reason I kept believing that Ryo starts to automatically go home at 11 pm after Ine-san begs him to do so but it's 11:30 all the time. I must've confused it with Shenmue II for some reason.

I kind of convinced myself that you could fight Lan Di on disc 3 when I was really young. A friend who liked Shenmue in school told me it was possible and on the back of the Shenmue case you will see Lan Di's face glaring over a fiery background. I added two and two together, thinking: "I haven't seen that scene before! That must be the showdown with Ryo my friend was talking about!" :/
