Have you ever pretended a game was Shenmue 3?

I admit while playing Uncharted 2 I pretended the village in the mountains was Bailu Village. Is that wrong?

But didn't that village in the snowy mountains of Nepal kinda-sorta seem like it could be like Bailu Village?

Personally no, but Sleeping Dogs was notorious for it at one point...

I never did get comparisons between Shenmue and Sleeping Dogs. Yeah, both games are set in Hong Kong and there's fighting, but they're completely night-and-day where everything else (particularly gameplay and progression) in concerned. Sleeping Dogs and Yakuza, yes, I can understand, but not Shenmue. I achieved 100% completion in Sleeping Dogs, and not once did I think 'Hey, this reminds me of Shenmue...'

But, hey, if it makes people happy, who am I to complain? :P

It's mostly the xbox fanboys who do this comparsion. Those who don't understand why you don't have to shoot everyone in sight, and then they say it's boring.
Just read the xbox furums. They say it's no big deal that they get no Shenmue because "it's like Sleeping dogs, just boring".
