i dont understand the intention of this rule? is it ensuring that chatroom members are well-known to others within the dojo community? does the amount of posts, regardless of quality, qualify a person as being sensible in regard to the other rules of the chatroom?
I fall under the 250 post threshold and i do not see how that unqualifies me to join a highly informal chatroom... i have been an avid follower (est 2005) and occasional poster on the forum but because i do not buy into the whole pseudo-brotherhood mystic of forums and insofar have a sumptuous amount of posts, i am unable to talk about what cereal i had for breakfast or how many dildo's i currently own. (not literal examples, merely taking the mick at how little is actually said in chatrooms)
