Christmas coming up!

Yes I know for us Americans we are just getting ready for Thanksgiving. However when out today it was snowing hard and Bing was singing on the radio. SO I'm in the spirit early. Got some shopping done for people. So are you bah humbug? Hate christian holidays. Not ready yet but love the time of year? Just hate and want it over with?

I never celebrated for the religious meaning. Just to be with Family. This year not asking for anything. I have everything now. But did say could use new socks. So I'm at that stage now in life where new socks would make me happy. But seriously very tempted to put on Bing Crosby about now.

I think I liked Christmas more when I had the kind of cash to get nice gifts for all of my family and friends. These days I suspect I come off as quite the cheapskate. I guess it's just a Capitalism holiday anyway. If there was a Jesus, it is supremely doubtful he was born in December, much less the 25th of it.

This might turn into some religious debate but it is funny Easter is Zombie Jesus day and December is Jesus magical birth day because no way Mary was a whore? Right?

Again to me it's just about time with family. I don't have much of a family so just glad for what I have as long as it lasts. My uncle hosts the Christmas get together as a tradition every year but his health is bad and 85. So now each year we are sure this is the last one.

don't really feel christmasy as it's 31 degrees here (87 for you yanks), sand dunes just don't make me feel as cozy inside as snow dunes do
