I don't get the reference, but I remember when I was like 10 watching this movie in the theater. Seeing this clip makes me ask why Robin WIlliams? lol

The last game I completed fully was Max Payne 3, the character is older and from the same neck of the woods geographically, so when I won that game I felt like 'hell yea we're older but we got it done'. :P

You can't fly anymore because you grew up. But you finally came back to the Lost Boys (and one fairy) of the Shenmue Dojo, where nobody ever grows up. The clip is to encourage you to become a great gamer again, even in your old age.

Why Mr. Williams? Well, it's a Jewish movie, so...

In your opinion, did Max Payne 3 have anything like the atmosphere and music of the original?

I'm going towards 33 soon and think that it's like this for me. As you say, some only play a couple of FPS games online so of course they're very good at it. Often they were worthless at any other genre though.

In my case there are many games that I'm much better at than I was before. And some games that were incredibly hard as a kid are ones that I can now replay without any problem.
So what I do think differs is not caring that much about competitive gaming for some. And if you don't care that much you won't be bothered to "train" this particular skill.
Neuroscientists say that the effects of age on reflexes differ a lot from person to person. But a huge difference was actually if you train this skill or not. Being physically active even reverses some of these effects.

Max Payne 3 was different in compared to the theme, at first it was a turn off, but then I realized, it's different, but it doesn't make it bad. I enjoyed it.

Oh I have a story about Noodles. When I was in college, I think it was my junior year of college so it was around 2004-2005. Noodles and I were on MSN messenger. We talked from time to time. Seemed pretty normal. Then things got weird. He started to message me like an overly attached girlfriend who texts you too much. Back then I would keep my computer on 24/7, so the messenger would be on. In the morning 'hi Jeff, Good Morning! :-)', later on 'Jeff how was your lunch'? 'Jeff I've been thinking about you'. 'Jeff we should talk'. All day long, I'd come back to my dorm room and find multiple messages on my computer from him, like some sort of stalker. Then later on we were talking and at the end of the convo he added one of these ' '. I'm like Oooooookkkk..... Then I guess a few days later he told me he loved me. I'm like uh....thanks I guess... :| The next day he sent, well let's put it a very graphic photo, possibly of himself to me. And that's when I ended all communication with him. I haven't heard from him since and I prefer it that way. One strange dude.

I had him on my MSN, and he was extremely odd there, too. Talked about drugs all the time, but on a purely technical level, like he wanted to show how much he'd Google'd up on them all. Got very tiresome. Talked about suicide quite a lot. Talked about underage girls, I then blocked him for a long time...

Yep, Noodl3s was the same for me. He sent me passwords to porn sites too, I think he probably could have gone to jail because I was a minor then  . And I kept talking to him I was young and stupid. Too many misadventures with him to talk about in one post.

Hey Jeff, remember that time I called your college and you pretended to be other people by changing your voice and I fell for it? I had trouble saying your name because I didn't know how Koch was properly pronounced then, I believe I kept saying "Is Jeff Cock there?".

Then I got the fall out from it, my mom asking me why there was a call charged to Benington,Vermont. I got out of it somehow by lying.

Me and Yuk always had that guy on the block list.

Only person I think either one of us ever had to do that.

noodles would really creep you out, I think we all ended up blocking him on MSN. After the "I tasted another mans cum and loved it" convo like he would spiratically just start up out of no where, what is there really left to say? I believe he told me he loved me at one point too, weird cause my real name is jeff too. I think he was having anxiety about coming out of the closet and he was realizing he liked dick. God that guy creeped me the fuck out. All I really remember about him was constantly talking about alcohol, drugs, and porn/sex.
I wouldnt be surprised if he was actually kiba ;-)

Yea, the things that make it good, are kind of series trademarks, things its pretty much always had, while the things that (to me) were not so good, fall almost completely on Dan Houser and the fact that he thinks he's Truman Capote.

The script screams Houser and someone needs to tell him his not as good a story teller as he thinks he is. The game misses Sam Lake.

See, this is what pisses me off about the Max Payne series... I loved the story of the original Max Payne, the style n shit, and I'd probably like the second too. Thing is, I thought the gameplay was pretty wank. On the flipside, I love the look of Max Payne 3 as a game, but the story looks so far removed from the Max Payne series that it just doesn't seem right, so I never know where to stand on the trilogy as a whole.

I should probably try playing the games through from start to finish, but I'll probably just chill on the sidelines and have a completely invalid opinion for now.
