I played shenmue when it first came out on dc about 8 times through. I recently bought a dreamcast and am on disk 3 of shenmue one. Second day of work ;). Ive never played number 2 but cant wait.

I played "WTF's Shenmue" yesterday for first time, lol.

Christmas is comiiiiiiing! I think I'll finish my new saves. I'm at the end of episode 1.

I can still remember many specific moments of my first time with Shenmue II, from my lucky encounter with a PAL copy to the soul-crushing conclusion in Guilin. I still have the cleared save file intact with the date and time 9.5 years ago, waiting to import the data into Shenmue III.

Enjoy Shenmue II when you get your hands on it, you are in for a treat. But, you might not realize it until the experience sinks in, which took several weeks for me. I enjoyed it immensely, of course, but it wasn't at the jaw-dropping best.game.evar.shenmue.3.nao. status it holds today until I played it the second time.
