Is "de-sensitized" the right word? I kinda almost agree. I am not for a minute suggesting it wasn't a terrible thing to happen, don't get me wrong, but it's getting to the stage where we hear about these things quite a lot now, so it's not such a huge deal any more. I'd be more affected if I was a parent, probably.

Often if I say I like Fidel Castro, I get odd looks. I don't know why - Cuba has 0% homelessness, free healthcare and education, good doctors, 100% literate population (give or take). And it's not as though I say it as a non-sequitur.

Since we're not honest, what could you be? I myself only believe in grey, which at the quantum level really turns out to be black and white.

And green because it is death and life in one, which is every child's history. After all, babies smile because they they inexpressibly realize that they are, yet were not.
