You never know, if this is popular enough, they may do it for World of Illusion as well. It's strange seeing Disney getting plenty of games made again.

Can't see it myself. Castle of Illusions and DuckTales are pretty much the most loved of the old Disney games and have some cult fan base. As much as I would love World of Illusions and Quackshot I just have never seen the love for them the other games have got.

I like how this looks, even though I was never a huge Castle of Illusion nut back in the day. I actually wish more 16-bit gems could get revivals like this, so brimming with personality and all.

Unlike the shitty Rocket Knight reboot or Adventure Island one oh and the drab Turtles in Time remake.

Blaster Master was decent.
Bionic Commando Rearmed is fucking amazing
Guardian Heroes was fantastic
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles was great
Double Dragon Neo gave it its own new personality

Some greatness in these games

Other remakes of course but these are 3D game remakes.

The Rocket Knight one wasn't that bad. The art style was westernized, of course, but it certainly wasn't ugly, and it controlled really well. It also mimicked the storytelling style of the original games, which is something it didn't have to do (they could have gone modern and used voice actors, but they opted to be more like the originals, which is nothing but a good thing). Don't really see what there is to hate about it.
Dracula X was great though.

They didn't really get the feel of the game down at all. It feels more like a crash bandicoot minigame then something running on Genesis.

(I am biased in this because I hate crash)

Yeaqh had this bargain bin knockoff Naughty Dog type thing or Crash when it went multi.
Feels nothing like the Genesis game in anyway and bland.
