I have to watch that fucking advert every day. Made some serious news. Check out other ones made by the DOE (department of the environment) here in Northern Ireland . They have always been seriously harsh here with drink driving adverts.

You know, I respect the message and all but c'mon...do they really expect anyone to watch that and not laugh? I'm sure there's a better way to go about teaching people drinking and driving without resorting to that level of goofiness...

They are criticised a lot here. But it's something everyone is used to now. It just makes people talk. The last one had a kid playing in the back yard and a car came flying through the hedge just like in that one, and completely obliterates him, as his dad jumps over a kids slide. Ugh. They ruin good songs for me too.

But yeah, they've got like-minded ads here in the US, but generally it'll be like a few teens in a car having fun or something, and then something unexpectedly slams into their car from the side, and the screen blacks out, and says something about drunk driving or texting or whatever. That seems a little more effective than a bunch of little kids cartoonishly being flattened.

That was the one before the one you posted but it was the first to have that proper smash mouth, in your face car flipping towards the kid. It was comp!ete shock horror shooting, like airing on TV at 5pm whilst the family are having dinner. Every Joe was talking about it the next day, and if you had not seen it when it aired, it wasn't long before you had. But your right they dont stop people drink driving. Not in Ireland man, come on

Wow... what an entertaining conversation lol. Dude there is no way thats from 2001, that has to be wrong, more like 2004-2005. I remember my MooCow days when I changed my name and avatar and left everyone guessing who it was for a couple days. Such simpler times...

I think I had my date from 2001 cause I was using an old version of Paint Shop Pro I got from a demo disc. It was actually the full version of the program but it had a 30 day time limit, all you had to do was put it back before the expiration date and it still worked.
