You can go online to PSN store and add it to your cart and check out. It will forever be in your download list that way. They delist stuff from the store but anyone who has it purchased can always re-download it later.

Nope. When you go to the site for the US store it gives you the option to create an account. Should be the same for the UK store as well.

And here I thought they couldn't possibly be dumb enough to cancel a project like this.
This thing was money in the bank. There was no way it wouldn't have been a hit.
I'm not personally all that broken up about it because we literally hadn't seen anything of the game itself. Sure, we got PT, but they even stated that it wasn't necessarily a reflection of how the final game would have been. And yes, PT was a cool little experience, but it was a self-contained experience, all by itself.
The only sentiment I really have about this whole thing is how bad a business move this cancellation is. Truly baffling, since Konami seriously have nothing else going on after MGSV comes out. They still have the license, but everyone knows it'll be weak without Kojima.
Konami should start saying their goodbyes.
