Drugs in Shenmue?

I don't think this has been posted before but I was wondering is there any mention of drugs in the game? I don't recall there being any unless I missed random dialogue somewhere. I think it would add even more interesting details.

I think its basically implied with the whole Chinese cartel in the docks thing. I remember being shocked at the revolver texture in Shenue II (That was censored in EU if memory serves) but all this shouldn't be too surprising really i mean what else are they gonna be shipping lol?

The revolvers can still be found in the European version. They aren't really anything to get excited about.
It's just a blocky and absolutely flat texture on the table. Might just aswell be part of the tablecloth.

I was playing through the section in shenmue 2 where you listen to the wiretapper's cassette tapes and at one moment they talk about a mule running off with 500 of something.
