I just realized that I asked another bad question.
The number of failed attempts it takes to trigger scenes with Shozo depends on whether or not you gave him coffee previously (I had thought that he wouldn't help you at all if you didn't give him some java). Anyway, yes, you are correct, assuming that Shozo got his beverage.

Wow I actually got that?! That was a total guess lol.

What is the only Move in Shenmue I where it is STUPID/not a good idea to Master it (practice the move until it reaches the "Moderate" level)? It's the only Move where it actually does WORST for Ryo/us when Mastered .

It is not a "Throw" Move by the way.

The moderate form was so unpopular that they changed it back to have the basic form at any level in Shenmue II.

Correct. The Swallow Dive is the lightning quick Leg Move taught personally by Guizhang to Ryo.

I don't know what they were thinking when they made Swallow Dive look the way it did in the Moderate level lol.
