Which System do you want Shenmue III to appear on?

At this point in time I would take Shenmue III on any console. However if I had to make a choice Xbox would be the most ideal console. It's definitely the most powerful to handle a project like Shenmue III, also it would be nice for the series to remain on one console, instead of continuing switching platforms.

On a side note, I would like to add Gamecube is no visual slouch either. Games like Resident Evil (Although pre-rendered), Metroid Prime, Rebel Strike/Rouge Leader, Starfox Adventures and F-Zero rival the best graphics in most Xbox games, so lets not kid ourselfs here.

good point, so RE4 since its in real time now (but still RE and RE0), yes for the other posts, its nce since xbox reminds us of DC with its controller and so many of the ports of cancelled titles (including 2x) and continuations of series on xbox.

gamecube can push some really good graphics, just not as good as what xbox can. its like they made xbox for shenmue. cits the best thing next to dreamcast.

Xbox seemed like a Dreamcast 2 early in its life span, but now it's going in a totally different direction. I'd be satisfied with it on Xbox or GC, just not PS2.

the only thing that would ruin the experience for if it was on GC would be 1: controller. the GC has the most unconfortable controller ive ever used 2: the fact that you would most likely have to switch discs. i hate doing that. 3: i would have to buy yet another console to play shenmue.....

nah, what ever system it comes out on it would be better if it was exclusive so they can worry about putting all their effort in one engine and console, wich would turn out much better.i do think that Shenmue 3 would sell better on GC cause the overall gaming public that owns that console seems like they would except the game alot more than the general xbox gamers.

Use your brain guys. Shenmue III WON'T be on Xbox since that console is making a total flop in Japan and Shenmue IIx didn't sell that well in USA either.

If Shenmue III is to be out on this generation of console it's either on GC (more power) or even PS2 (Doesn't have the power ? Maybe, but remember how AM2 surprised all of us in revealing the potential of the dreamcast... Releasing Shenmue III on PS2 would mean a larger base for selling too). If a platform is totally out of the question it's the XBOX.
