We've never seen Niao-sun or Ziming fight. And Ryo still has a lot of learning to do. So I'd say Lan Di.

Darn. Iden got here just before me and said almost the same thing I did.

Xiuying could beat, like, anyone up.
She's the strongest I think

But she told Ryo that if he couldn't even defeat her, he'd never be able to take on Lan Di. Which means Lan Di is probably stronger.

Iwao is the strongest. I'm fairly confident he could have easily taken out Lan Di, but for some reason he just refused to give it his best (for example, he knew the Shadow Step move and he didn't even try it).

My second vote would go to Xiuying, not just because of her experience and strength, but because of her speed. She can move faster than anyone in the whole Shenmue series (so far).

From what ive seen so far Lan Di is easily the strongest
for a start he barely had to try against Iwao
and theres no way weve seen the full extent of his ability

i see what ur saying, but i just think that lan di was much better than him. i mean, y would he have wanted to die?

Well, remember what the hobo at Yokosuka Habor said: "Sometimes there is no sense in fighting..."

Who knows? But seriously, I doubt Iwao was giving it his best. When Lan Di tells him to get up so he can die like a warrior, he just threw his fist without even thinking: Too sloppy.

I think somehow, Iwao just wanted to die. There is more to the Shenmue story than meets the eye and it wouldn't surprise me if Iwao just had too much to weight carry for he supposively did to Zhao.
