Ever since the Kikizo lie bullshit and the other billions of raise my my hope then let me down later and after the whole cancellation of SO and now Sammy acting like old Sega on the verge of going bankrupt so doing massive layoffs and cutbacks the chance of them taking a risk on a failed series again would be retarded business wise if they want to remain in business even though right now they are hanging on a thread as it is and they treat YU like Milton....there is just no chance for it to come out right now.

Another one of these? So what's the point here? To whine and bitch and moan about how our favorite video game is never coming out? To insult Sega and Sammy and Adam Doree? I don't see the point in all these "census" threads that only serve to polarize the forum members into "believers" and "non-believers." It's not a religion here, folks - just a video game. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn't, it doesn't. There should be plenty to occupy one's self with in the meantime.

I think Yu Suzuki cares to much about shenmue to just let it die. I think that shenmue 3 will either be cancelled and that will be it or it will appear out of knowhere as a trilogy pack (1,2 and 3) years later.

And i do mean years later like 10 or 15.

Well, you gotta understand, most of the believers get to a point where they realise "oh shit, it really ain't coming out, is it?" and then make one of these topics to let everyone know that they've joined the dark side. Or is the believer side the dark side? After all, if you believe, then you believe into what can now be considered an evil corporation. You don't believe me? Look at Sammy's history. Look at Satomi. They use cheap labour. They screw over their fanbase. They churn out shit games, and they piss on the corpse of a once-great warhorse. You can't tell me that leaving this behind isn't cause for creating a new topic.

Heh heh.
Newbies always say that.

For me, it's not so much that I've lost hope in it. It's moreso that I can't be bothered to hope for it anymore. I don't really have an opinion as to whether it'll ever come out or not. If it does, great. If it doesn't, that sucks. But there'll still be other games for me to be interested in, whether S3 ever comes out or not.

Though i hate saying it, i've pretty much lost hope now. Its nearly a decade since the game was first released. Though things like the resurrection of NiGHTS, give me a little bit of hope

Someone will probably revive it. Can't see SEGA making the effort anymore, not with the way things are. But stranger things have happened.
