Just searching around for Genesis games to get sometime, and I came across the Japanese art for a game called Traysia:

I plan on getting the US release, but the cover art is nowhere near as beautiful. I can't believe they actually swapped this pic out for a cliche one of a guy fighting a dragon. Man, as good as games were back then, the US publishers were really clueless when it came to making attractive box art.

Might not be much a fan of current Spider-Man stuff, but Maximum Carnage was great back in the day, and the cover art was excellent.

Also pretty cool that in some copies, the cartridge was actually red.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that my friend had the version of this game with the red cartridge. This was probably my favorite spider-man game. It was so awesome.

While i still love the PS2 artwork better,the Wii one was also darn good...except for a couple things ruined it.
#1 the now famous IGN water mark
#2 the big sticker thing printed on.

Fans annoyed everywhere about this got Capcom to release free artwork to people who purchased the game (now expired) and months later after requesting it I got it in late 2008.

Since I plan to buy the artbook tomorrow (Talked about in the new books/manga forums in gaming artbooks) I decided to finally use these and the replacement artwork to show off how nice I thought it looked.
I took some pics to show here.

^ They are sexy. wish i knew about this, im stuck with the shitty ign stamp.. Why they print it on the front beats me. makes it look so much cheaper.
