That's Bajiquan Master Wu Lianzhi who supervised Bajiquan motions for Shenmue.
You can learn more about him in this topic of mine:

Thanks alot Kiyuu, thats brilliant!
I never knew about this, but it's things like that and the attention to detail which make Shenmue certainly the best martial arts game ever. I actually used to study a bit of Baji myself(now I just focus completely on Chen Taiji) so it's great hearing about these things.

Now if only Yu had gotten someone like GM Chen Xiao Wang( I reckon he would have been up for it!) to supervise the Chen tai ji master's movements, that would have been too amazing!

Ahh, misread. Art of Capcom 2, thought it was MvC2. I thought for a moment Ryudo had found the jackpot, because MvC2 art has always been such a hard thing to find. Even after ten or so years we never had high resolution Magneto/Storm art.

Got something cool in the mail today:

The soundtrack to Uncharted Waters 2: New Horizons. All of it actually orchestral and studio-recorded, rather than being an "original sound" version (meaning no bleeps and bloops, just real instruments).
It's pre-Cowboy Bebop, but the album still shows that Yoko Kanno already had some Jazz chops beforehand, as well as being an extremely versatile composer. For the most part, it's not all that "catchy" as videogame music goes, but it's still incredibly well-composed and a pleasure to listen to.

Been planning on doing a video feature/review for this game eventually too. Not sure when (got a LOT more to do first), but it'll probably be a two-parter.
And dammit, this has put me in the mood to buy more game soundtracks now... might have a couple more to post here pretty soon.

I started the first one a little while back, but it was just too reliant on trade and economy for me. I still want to try playing a little deeper into it at some point, but I played for a few hours and literally hadn't even gotten into any ship battles or progressed in the story at all. Just sailing from port to port buying things up and selling them elsewhere. There's more to the game, but I guess at the time I just didn't have the patience for it.

New Horizons, however, I know is much more varied and interesting (what little I've played at least; maybe 2-3 hours with one of the characters). There's still a lot of trade involved in it, but there's also much more of a story going through it, and more in the way of action. Basically more well-rounded, and I'm really looking forward to finally sitting down and seriously playing through it. I love the general setting and time period of it.
If you want to try the series, that's the one to go for. I figure most people would think the first game is boring.
